I am so thrilled that I finally found a jeweler that I can trust, who is reasonable, understands sentimental value, and treats it with care. My engagement ring is from my mother-in-law who passed away a few years ago. It means the world to me and it serves as my wedding ring. I took it to two other jewelers in Houston and had awful experiences. It looked like it was hammered, lopsided, and the baguette diamonds were beginning to come off. When you walk in to JVP Jewelers, you'll see a glass window that shows their work area. That is how transparent they are. They want you to know that they do their work and have nothing to hide. They don't ship jewelry for someone else to do. I told Jack how worried I was and how damaged the ring was. He was 100% honest in what needed to be done and understood how much the ring meant to me. I almost cried when I saw the ring because I haven't seen it look that wonderful since I first saw it. I am so happy with JVP Jewelers' character and work that I will only be going here in the future.

I didn't know until recently that there was a jeweler right here in my West Heights neighborhood whose been here for many years. JVP Jewelers offers full service jewelry repairs, custom work, sizing, and watch battery replacement for reasonable prices.
In addition to getting a new watch batteries today, I had a metal ring guard placed inside a band which made it fit perfectly. Jack offers the plastic ring guards and the more hard-to-come-by metal ones, which I prefer, and those type seems to last forever.
Happy to have found a highly-qualified and professional jeweler so close to home. JVP Jewelers is on the second floor of the office building on corner of W. 18th. St. & Seamist. There is free parking in the parking garage.

This is by far the best jeweler I’ve ever met. Jack does amazing work without trying to upsell you. I’ve brought several pieces of fine jewelry to him to downsize a few rings, and create a necklace for me from my original wedding ring. He listened and delivered exactly what I wanted.
